Aedron

Aedron, God of Crafting

Aedron is a rugged Dwarven God with a workshop presence more natural to him than any throne. He thrives on creation, design, productivity, and the satisfaction of finished work. He is the divine maker behind the Relics and World Wonders that allow Endros to survive. Where many Gods rule through armies or agents, Aedron rules through the things civilization cannot afford to lose.

Powers & Sacrament

Aedron's artificing ability is legendary. In the First Age, he was among the Gods who learned to reshape matter through the veil, and after descending to Gaia he became obsessed with creating works that could outlast ordinary civilization.

Unlike Gods who primarily express their divine power through Anointed agents, Aedron invests his Sacrament into forged objects rather than mortal bodies. This bestows his greatest works with incredible properties that ordinary Aethertech cannot replicate.

Temperament & Culture

Aedron works tirelessly and expects the same discipline from the artificers that serve under him. Dwarven culture is inseparable from his influence. Skill and dedication matter more than charm or inherited prestige, resulting in a society that has produced most of Endros's greatest creations.

Onyx and the Dwarves

Aedron is the de facto authority of Onyx, the heart of Dwarven civilization and the greatest center of Aethertech in Endros. He delegates rule to the corporations most valuable to him, allowing corporate usefulness, technical excellence, and proven contribution to determine political weight. This has shaped Dwarven society into a craft-focused corporate meritocracy where master artisans, senior Factors, inventors, and indispensable specialists hold immense status.

Aedron prefers to remain at the Forgeheart, his industrial workshop, but visits project sites for major projects that require direct intervention. When possible, he crafts critical components in his own workshop and sends them to be assembled by teams of trusted artificers elsewhere.

Relics and Wonders

Before the Demonic Invasion, Aedron's creations were personal, economic, civic, and diplomatic relics, many of which were lost during the Calamity. After the demonic invasion, his work shifted toward survival: war relics, fortifications, transport systems, and artifacts that could resist or destroy demonic forces.

Some of Aedron's major projects include Reavers for Hunters, Titan Armors for Kratos's Titans, Archivist Gems for Lexica's Archivists, the Great Wall and Titan Gates, the Forgeheart, major Dwarven infrastructure, and direct involvement in projects such as the Starlit Rotunda and the Kraken Heart.

Divine Relationships

Aedron's relationships with other Gods are largely defined by work. Kratos depends on his fortifications, Titan Armor, and war infrastructure. Artemis relies on Reavers and other relic support for Hunters. Lexica uses Archivist Gems and communications infrastructure made with his assistance. Ursula's navy benefits from his many Dwarven infrastructure projects and his efforts on warsubs such as the legendary Kraken Heart. Varga values the weapons Aedron creates for his Alphas.

Sutra's work often parallels his own, with her mastery of weaving and Regalia complementing his mastery of matter, relics, and structural enchantment. Terra also intersects with his domain through stone, earth, excavation, and grand Dwarven construction.
