Conditions

Status Effects

  • Burning: Lose 3 HP at the start of each turn.
  • Prone: Opponents have advantage against you. Can end this status with your move action.
  • Restrained: Lose your movement. Opponents have advantage against you.
  • Slowed: Lose your movement.
  • Stunned: Lose your movement. Cannot perform high effort actions this turn.

Special Conditions

Special conditions should be considered "soft" mechanics, interpreted by the GM based on an encounter's unique circumstances. Some general guidelines include:

  • Blinded: The user cannot see. They are vulnerable to attack, have disadvantage to physical actions, and movement becomes clumsy and dangerous.
  • Cover: The user has partial cover. Relevant attacks against the user are made with disadvantage.
  • Deaf: The user cannot hear. They are vulnerable to certain forms of stealth and flanking attacks.
  • Demoralized: The user is afraid, intimidated, or has no will to continue. They suffer disadvantage to actions other than fleeing.
  • Incapacitated: The user loses their movement and action.
  • Invisible: The user cannot be seen by natural means. They have advantage to their attacks, and attacks against them have disadvantage.
  • Unconscious: The user is unconscious. Melee attacks against them automatically succeed.
