Pranatech
Includes healing chambers, demon-slaying weapons, purity shards, holy lighting, serenity stones, and other Prana-related Aethertech.
Healing Chamber
Healing Chambers are considered World Wonders due to the complexity and scale of their construction. Requiring a strong saturation of both Prana and Nature, only three such chambers have been created: in Skywood, Arcanus, and Haven. A wounded victim is placed into a garden pod that forms a symbiotic connection to them. A process begins that reduces recovery times by nearly a factor of ten, even without the support of a priest.
Prana Blade
Prana Blades are formidable Aethertech weapons renowned for their demon-slaying ability, but only if there is a sufficiently high amount of Prana present. When activated, the blade glows hot with white light, corresponding to the strength of Prana present. With a high Prana saturation, it is capable of effortlessly slicing through demonic flesh and inciting additional damage from its holy wrath. A skilled Exorcist can also use it to cast slashing waves of Prana forward, which inflict similar damage, but more distributed across the wave's length. It is no more dangerous than a regular sword to non-demonic life.
Purity Shard
Purity Shards are smooth, translucent gemstones that siphon and store traces of miasma that burst out from demons when slain. This leaves discreet ripples similar to tree rings. Excessive miasma causes webs of red veins to form, deepens the color into an obsidian hue, and may cause it to emit a subtle darkness.
Adventurers receive purity shards from the Adventurer's Guild to help verify demon kills and quest completion. Adventurers can return them for payment and recycling. The miasma traces are measured, identifying the types and power levels of demons slain.
Prana Light
Prana Lights provide direct lighting or ambient lighting without an apparent source. They come in a variety of colors, intensity, and types. They are most commonly used for city infrastructure, such as for lighthouses, temples, bathhouses, guildhouses, and military locations. In some settlements, they may also facilitate an important role as emergency signals at Adventuring Guilds.
Serenity Stone
Serenity Stones are statues carved from reinforced marble, depicting figures of legend, most commonly Amara, the Goddess of Compassion. These statues radiate Prana, improving the mood of those nearby, and helping to naturally repel demonic entities. Serenity Stones are usually less than a meter tall, with an influence of 10 meters. Larger models can be found in major Sanctuaries, holy sites, and special locations where emotional tranquility is desired.
